Miniaquaponics

Aquaponics systems mimics the ecosystem, creating a closed-loop cycle composed of multiple living components. As nutrients and water cycle through, fish and plants thrive. While aquaponics is mostly being used in large scale production, this project focuses on a small scale. Biophilia is essential for human well-being, but more importantly, when people develop a connection with other living organisms, they are more likely to care for other species in nature.
